We are going back in time to leap in the future
The web3 travel industry is still small.
This gives us the opportunity to spend some quality time together and focus on networking.
For this reason we selected a location conductive to quality human interactions: quiet, inspiring and with many little corners, inside and outside in the nature, where to talk.
The connections made here, will impact the industry for years to come.
A unique chance to get to know the builders, the thought leaders and the investors.
Why Web3 in Travel
As the internet evolves into Web3 and acquires new functionalities, such as native value transmission (send money and valuables without intermediaries), renewed sovereignty of the user (one account you own for all websites, rather than one account you don’t own per website) and protocolization of services (where the internet tells OTAs “I’ll take care of it and it will cost nothing)”, the travel industry will need to adapt.
It’s not a choice, as these changes will happen under every company’s feet and the very terrain they live on (the internet) will change.

TECTRIS Web3 in Travel Startups Pitch competition Semi-Finals and overnight stay
The first global startups call for the Web3 Travel industry. The 10 semi-finalists will pitch their idea and 3 will go to Vienna for the finals and get up to 250,000 € investment.
Day 4
The Departure
We negotiated some better rates in at the castle in case you want to extend.
Or, if you want to spend time in Rome, or Florence, we have many friends who run Property Management and Hotels all over Italy, so get in touch.

The Rooms
The accommodation in these charming rooms is included in the package
The Food
Breakfast, light lunch and dinner.
Great food, wine, liquors and coffee. All included. No extra costs.
(Vegetarian, vegan and special dietary options available).
There’s also a bar.
The castle management only uses seasonal ingredients and carefully selected regional products.
The menu includes red and white wines produced at their own Salviano estate.

Conference Proposal
The conference location and dates have been approved by the Web3 in Travel Conference DAO Founder NFT holders with this Snapshot vote.
People who have helped the most in the previous conference have more voting power.
NFTs can also be purchased from holders on OpenSea.
Voting was quadratic, to avoid people with deep pockets to control the conference.
Speakers Selection
The same with speakers: every single one needs to be approved by the DAO.
We will collect all requests (apply here) and put them in a vote, in batches.
