[Product Update]

Mining Lite App

  • In our last blog post, we introduced our upcoming mining app, which includes a wallet in the backend, and some fun mining tasks in the frontend for ordinary users to earn tokens.
  • The frontend features are now completed.
  • Focus for the next week will be to build the backend.
  • We will continue to optimize the UI and UX.
  • We are brainstorming on the name of the app, please email marketing@turingnet.com if you have any brilliant ideas!

Chain Platform

  • Engineers are working day and night and exploring on the incorporation of Image-Net, which has thousands of images for model training。
  • We are also researching on Memcashed — a distributed memory object caching system to see the best options for efficient caching in distributed applications.
  • Another core feature on our platform is allowing users to easily migrate their existing AI models from other mainstream frameworks into TuringNet (for example, TensorFlow), and we are currently digging into the details into how to seamlessly export these models from TensorFlow.

[Community Campaigns]

It was a great pleasure discussing TuringNet’s project details with our community members. Thanks to all who asked insightful questions! You can find a summary of our previous AMA (Ask Me Anything) session from our blog post here.

[Events and Conferences]

Speech at TsingHua University

Our CEO, Dr. Kai Wen, gave a speech at the Top 1 university in China — TsingHua University, about TuringNet, its innovations, how it will breakthrough the current AI industry.

Meetup Event in Burlingame

On 9/22, we had a successful offline event at the heart of Silicon Valley in partnership of Boosto (thanks again for hosting!!!), Achain, and iBlock. We generated lots of interests after the introduction of the project, and had a great discussion about the future and potential of blockchain in regards to adoption, technological advancement, how it may revolutionize traditional industries, and token economies.

You can review the recorded video on YouTube. Thank you all for attending!

BLOCKCHAIN @ Google — Tech Startup Fest

Last week, we had a great time attending the Tech Startup Fest — BLOCKCHAIN @ Google Mountain View Campus. We met and chatted with some of the forerunners in the blockchain industry, including the Blockchain Architecture from Oracle, Senior Director from ConsenSYS, Founding Partner of StarChain Ventures and etc.

SVIEF 2018 — Silicon Valley Innovation Entrepreneurship Forum

Listening to some of the global leaders talking about the future of the blockchain and AI was truly inspiring. We learned a lot from Tim Draper, Dr. Kai-Fu Lee, and Dr. Shoucheng Zhang.

About TuringNet — World’s First Open and Trustable Platform for AI

One of the key bottlenecks in the AI industry has been caused by lack of trust and transparency, TuringNet is the world’s first open and trustable Artificial Intelligence platform to solve the blackbox problem of AI.

Our patent-pending technologies are designed to empower a self-governing ecosystem that develops verifiable and trustable AI models. Our novel tokenomics model #CommunityMiningOffering incentivizes the public to participate in scalable and collaborative model training and prediction. The open platform will significantly lower the entry barriers for enterprises to adopt AI. Also, our verifiable and decentralized model (DModel) opens endless possibilities for AI to be applicable to various scenarios, including the improvement of the blockchain technology itself.
