After an explosive two weeks of intense PUBG Mobile action, our Ultimate Warrior Showdown (UWS) came to a close in the Grand Finals held on Friday 2nd October, and we couldn’t be more pleased with its success.

🎉🎊 Congratulations to Onic Esports who smashed it all the way to take the UWS crown in the highly charged finals.

We launched one of the largest Asian PUBG Mobile tournaments with 1,080 teams playing in matches including tons of internationally recognized pro teams such as Faze Clan, Team Secret, T1 and Orange Esports. UWS was created in partnership with Tencent Games, OKEx, Athena Gaming and Warmania.

Throughout the tournament, we broadcast live streams to over 8.6 million viewers on YouTube, Facebook and Douyu in English, Korean, Hindi, Mandarin and Nepali. In China 280,000 viewers tuned in to watch the live UWS action across just 2 days on Douyu.

Scale & Adoption

There has never been such a successful event with this scale of adoption in Crypto. Other platforms pale in comparison with thousands of views not millions. After our beta we went into full scale mode without a hitch — millions of viewers and thousands of users on our platform without any issues. And this is our first Tournament out of beta! A big congratulations to our entire team and partners who worked round the clock to make this a great success.

  • Qualifiers started on Sept 21, 2020–2 qualifying tournaments in total
  • Tournament lasted 12 days
  • More than 37 Hours streamed on Facebook, Douyu, Warmania and Athena
  • 756 teams from the beginning of the tournament
  • 64 additional teams signed up throughout the tournament
  • Grand Final had a Best of Five — Onic Esports from Indonesia won
  • More than 8.6 Million viewers
  • Huge success thanks to our partnership with Tencent Games, Athena Gaming and WarMania
  • Tournaments are now branded as the Product — ‘Ultimate Warrior Showdown
  • First International Tournament across all Southeast Asian Countries in direct cooperation with Tencent whose partnership is being expanded

  • Total tournament video viewership: 8,614,728 across all our broadcasters
  • The biggest daily peak of audience at 164,000 viewers on Youtube (Athena Gaming)
  • Half a million viewers across all channels during the second day of the Semi Finals.
  • Over 288,000 viewers during two days in China (Douyu)
  • TikTok Campaign reached 6 million viewers

Many upgrades and enhancements were also made to the Esports Fight Club platform in preparation of and during the UWS tournament (included in Q3 Roadmap updates).
