Lead generation has been an important part of marketing. Why is it so important? Let us think that you are running a business, the success and growth of your business are determined by the revenue earned. To earn in a business you need customers, to get customers you need to market your product and get their attention, this is where the lead generation marketing plays the role.

Early days the lead generations were by publishing ads in newspapers, TV or radio and make your customers call to inquire about the products and services. Now the situation has completely changed topsy -turvy as the advertising platforms have increased a lot due to the digital community. Marketing today happens through websites, social media, online stores, etc. For marketers, this digital world is boon to create lead generation.

There are different ways to lead generate like making calls, sending emails, putting ads on websites. If somebody asks me the number of times I have attended a marketing call in the last 2 months, I would say it maybe 2 or 3 times. If it is an email I may block it as a spam mail until and unless I am interested in the product. At the same time if we talk about ads it can reach 30% of customers. Videos are undoubtedly effective and efficient ways of marketing. Videos have the ability to showcase your business how you visualize it and convert visitors into paying customers. Video marketing has a seamless effect in generating leads and converting potential customers into consumers availing the products and services.

When corporate companies plan their video production they have come across many steps like well-thought content, focus on target audience, outline objectives, core message, strategy, video production brief, production series (creative content, audio mix, graphics content, shoot), Post-production( editing, mixing of sound) and finally hosting the video in websites, social media sites and setting analytical for the video. After taking so much effort the companies sure attain the fruit for their effort they have to concentrate on distribution and content analysis.

Ultimately future is for video marketing as it helps marketers to meet their consumer's needs and gives them a boundless opportunity to make them heard. But only spreading content is not enough, marketers also need content level analytics to understand the context needed to know what’s working and what isn’t, what changes can be made to improve things like engagement or conversions, and what ROI the organization is getting from a video.
