Hi there, my name is Visvak. I’m a writer and editor from Chennai, currently based in Goa. I’ve worked in print and digital media, as an editor and as a reporter. My writing has been published in The Hindu, Business Line, BuzzFeed, The Wire, Scroll, Huffington Post, Asia Times, Newslaundry, and Pragati. I've worked as a features editor at The Hindu and at BuzzFeed India and as an academic editor for the Economic and Political Weekly. Most recently, I co-founded India Ink, a project that aims to bridge the gap between academia and media by communicating in-depth research about Indian history in an accessible way.
