The Free Radical is the online magazine for White Coats for Black Lives, a medical student organization fighting for racial justice in medicine. This space exists to dig deeper into issues of racial and social justice within medicine and to inspire each other to use our positions as future physicians to create a more equitable society. To effectively do this, we envision The Free Radical as a tool for the political education of people in healthcare, covering topics in intersectional feminism, radical politics, and liberation movements.
