Not surprised, since I’ve found a definite use case for both a laptop/desktop and a tablet; when working on research and the like, I use one for reading and one for writing/coding/working… I’ve owned a convertible device, though admittedly an early model (HP Touchsmart TX2 circa 2009, to be precise), and switching modes always seemed to break flow…
That’s true… the average user hasn’t memorized every shortcut in the book, so the Touch Bar could make things easier in that regard!
Interesting point… having listened to the first as an audiobook, I tend to agree. I might change my mind after listening to the second, but, after listening to the first, I felt that it overemphasized us as a species and underemphasized environmental factors’ role in shaping us.
Was reminded of that after taking a writing gig I shouldn’t have because I still remember those times when my family and I could barely get by… not worth it if you don’t have time to breathe!
