Where we are now

  • More than 75,000 blocks have been appended to the chain by almost 48,000 different mining nodes, who collectively minted 18,750,000 WIT tokens.
  • 18,000 data requests have been published and resolved.
  • 520,000 transactions transferring WIT tokens have been made.

Node operators participating in Phase 2 of the Witnet Testnet Incentive program are required to complete the following steps by September 30th 2020

  1. Sign up to the Witnet Testnet Incentive program. A few days after registering, you will have received your Witnet ID (e.g. WIT_3GEU33), which is your unique identifier for the program.
  2. Complete the KYC process through WeStart.
  3. Start running a node and monitor it to ensure it’s operating normally.
  4. Prove ownership of your Witnet node as described below.
