You feel certain that Angelika has tricked you. She’s a demoness — perhaps the spawn of Impachik himself!
With a yell, you leap forward and slash your sword towards her. She ducks, but the blade nicks one of her horns, and she yelps in pain and anger. The zombiefied villagers loom forward, but you pull away.
“What are you doing?” Angelika demands. “You’re supposed to be helping.”
Regardless, you thrust your sword into her chest, and she falls at your feet.
The child is dead.
But where are her horns?
As you look down, you realize that you’ve killed an innocent.
The villagers are now pulling away in horror. Some are fleeing.
