Dear XYO HODL’ers, founding members, and anyone obsessed with blockchain or geospatial location tech. Once again, we’ve outdone ourselves in the last few weeks. Here’s the tally:

We have a lot of ground to cover, so let’s go!

Run2Play is an app that helps users raise money for charity when they run. There’s no need to sign up for that charity-themed half marathon or 5k, users can earn money whenever they go for a jog. We’ll verify the journeys that earn the money for the nonprofits. Get the details on our Run2Play partnership.

DOVU rewards drivers for making good decisions, like taking less congested roads, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, getting to a destination early. The company uses a combination blockchain wallet, token and marketplace to honor environmentally conscious drivers. We’ll provide the location verification for driver journeys. Read more about our partnership with DOVU.

Speak Easy Solutions is a Florida company that sends speech, occupational, behavioral and other therapists to homes. We’re providing location data to confirm that therapists complete their appointments, helping Speak Easy avoid insurance fraud. Find out more about our partnership with Speak Easy Solutions.

Cyber Antigens is a secure computing and cybersecurity company that wants to build a network of technology and sensors to keep food safe during its path through the supply chain. We’ll help Cyber Antigens create a chain of custody for food using our location technology. Find out more on our Cyber Antigens partnership.

XYO at Bluetooth World

XYO at Mobile World Congress — Americas

XYO’s Sr. Marketing Manager Kevin Stanley, Bryce Paul, and Co-Founder and Head of Operations Markus Levin will attend Mobile World Congress — Americas.

Four outstanding people have joined the XYO Network team in the last few weeks! Here they are:

Becca Mora

Technical support lead

Becca has more than eight years of customer service experience with Fortune 500 companies that include TESLA, GEICO, and Verizon Wireless. After purchasing her first Bitcoin in 2014, she spent the following year and a half traveling across South America. During that time, she became extremely interested in cryptocurrency, and she’s spent the last several

years investing and trading in crypto.

Becca enjoys travel, music, spoken word, basketball, and all types of cuisine. She’s excited to work at XYO, a place where she believes the technology of the future is being built today.

Damien Seawood

Technical Support

Damien Seawood is currently a college student studying Computer Science. But that hasn’t stopped him from also delivering excellent technical support to our customers!

In his spare time, he loves to relax, play video games, read, and play frisbee. His primary goal at XYO is to learn as much as he possibly can.

Canaan Devito

Technical support

Canaan Devito graduated from UCSB just a few months ago, but he already has more than seven years of customer service experience. When our customers need technical help, Canaan is there with answers.

When he’s not at XYO, he has a wide range of hobbies, and you can find him reading, surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding, hiking, learning, and enjoying both art and music. He’s also passionate about specialization in software solutions for business development.

Jonny Marroquin

Video Content Producer

Jonny only recently graduated from San Francisco State University, but he already has a huge body of work for some of the world’s most prolific companies. As a freelancer, he’s created content for Casper, Webflow, Touch of Modern, Revolution Food, and Thumbtack, among other businesses.

But that’s only part of his impressive portfolio, as he has done extensive work in the music industry, working with Skrillex, T.Pain, Moby, Wycleff Jean, and many other famous names.

When Jonny isn’t creating content, he’s planning shows. His primary goal is to show the world the journey XYO is taking.
