Dear XYO HODL’ers and Community Members!

I’ve got some big news.

First, Mike Stenger, our resident comedian and copywriter, had a busy week. He ordered a pair of even more annoying orange shoes (than usual) on Amazon Prime.

Here’s a pic:

What can top that?

Oh, yes, how about this? We also released our XY Semi-Annual Financial Report with the SEC.

And the news… is… phenomenal!

Here are the highlights:

  • Sales for the six-month period ending June 30, 2018 were $15.0 million, up $14.6 million, on a year-over-year basis
  • The first half of 2018 was defined by high sales growth and continued development of the XYO Network blockchain platform
  • Approximately $13 million in sales were attributable to the pre-sale and main sale of XYO tokens
  • Net Income increased $7.6 million year-over-year, up from a loss of $2 million over the same period in 2017
  • Generated positive cash flows despite significant investment in infrastructure and human capital, with a net increase of $1.2 million in cash and equivalents

Who are the latest people to join the XYO team? Here’s a list!

Jin Kwon

Technical Support

Jin Kwon, one of our newest support members, graduated from UCSD with a degree in Computer Science. He’s worked in customer service departments for various companies, but landed at XYO because he wanted to shift gears and do something that aligned with his field of study.

His hobbies make him perfect for XYO because they include crypto, learning programming languages, and exploring ICOs and learning about their tech. At XYO, he hopes to understand how XYO works as as business, and grow as an employee.

Yemi Ogunbase

Senior Direct Response Copywriter AKA “The Prince of Copywriting”

Yemi Ogunbase is (in his own words) “the highest converting copywriter who ever lived”. It’s that confidence that makes him an asset to our Direct Response team. He learned copywriting by studying the greats like Gary Halbert, John Carlton and Gene Schwartz.

When Yemi isn’t at XYO, he’s hanging out with his wife, who he calls “The Redhead”, or one of his many children, playing bass or leading the men’s ministry at church. His XYO goals? To use his gifts and skills to make XYO the top token in our space.

Andrew Pena

Media Buyer

With over half a decade in media buying under his belt, he’s crafted highly successful campaigns for various clients and niches. He’s wants to bring his knowledge and expertise to help grow XYO into global phenomena.

When he’s not working, Andrew’s a full-time single dad to his 7-year-old son Korben. He loves to read about human nature, psychology, direct response marketing and general self improvement.

Alex DeConde

Senior Business Development Manager

Alex holds a BA degree in Business from Arizona State University and an MBA from The University of California, Irvine. Prior to joining XYO, he was an account executive at Esri, helping companies leverage GIS (geographic information systems) to solve complex business problems.

His hobbies include blockchain, finance, soccer, basketball, and reading both science fiction and fantasy books. Alex wants to help XYO disrupt the location data industry.

Well, that’s it for your latest edition of This Week at XYO, the only place to go when you need hot news on XY financials, the latest info on partnerships, and over-sized pictures of Mike’s annoying orange shoes.

Until next time….HODL!
