How can we explain hot work ?

Hot work is any job that can cause a fire

Hot work permits are used when heat or sparks are generated by work such as w elding, burning, cutting, grinding.

A Hot Work Permit is mandatory for any work involving the use of naked flame, ignition source capable of igniting flammable gases, volatile liquids or other materials.

  1. Dismantling or maintenance of safety critical equipment;

2.Welding, Cutting, Grinding (Or Other, Giving Rise To A Source Of Ignition), Outside Designated Areas;

3.Working in places where dangerous machinery may be operated remotely;

4.Electrical Work, Where There Is A Possibility Of Causing Fire Or Electrical Shock

5.Refuelling/Bunkering Operations;

6.Painting.

7-Special Ceriticate Required Hot Work Type

UNDER WATER WORK PERMIT: This permit should be issued for all underwater activities.To perform this activity issuing authority only can perform this activity by competent diving supervisor.
