Welcome to Telemarketing block list #16. If you’re new here, this is a list of phone numbers which attempted to spam, scam, or defraud the 60-Seconds telephone.
What happens is, the call is answered. If nobody is there, or it hangs up, or some telemarketer answers, then we record the number. We then call the number back, and get one of three responses: 1) it’s a dead number, disconnected, or 2) it’s the spammer, or 3) it’s an innocent phone owner who has been spoofed by the cyber criminals.

Note that some of these were SMS or TEXT spams. Now just copy the list and paste into your phone under “New Contact” …. and give it a recognizable name.
It’s as simple as that. There are new remedies coming along all the time, and we’re testing them as we see new ones that show promis. However, if you’ve blocked the number, the next time they use that number to call, it be blocked. We regularly get calls from call centers we blocked back early in this series. Today, in fact, we got one which was blocked in list #6.
Unfortunately there’s no help from the telephone industry because the carriers are making too much money. You’re on your own fighting telemarketers and spammers!
