Somewhere deep within It
The Light Stream flows,
on and on.
Unshackled from the harrowing hours
of Its darkness.
Transcendence.
Above the shattered lamp posts
facing the black-eyed alleyways
It frequents. Abraded, bludgeoned,
and trawling. Withering unseen.
Somewhere deep within It
The Light Stream flows,
on and on.
Amid the tethered spaces anchoring oxygen to time,
splashing in the in-between.
Transcendence.
If It is ashen and leaking scarlet
without a pillow for Its head.
And sheathed in ice, if, secretly, It yearns to thaw.
The Sacred Fire within It longs for It, too.
Somewhere deep within It
The Light Stream flows,
on and on.
Twinkling in the distance.
O, in the light-years overhead.
Transcendence.
Rising out of the hours of Its darkness,
The Lantern Eye lifts It up, and carries It
into The Sacred Fire to melt the ice, to nourish
the radical soft tissue, to suture the scarlet wound.
Somewhere deep within It
The Light Stream flows,
on and on.
If It holds on…underneath the rubble,
there is hope for It — unrelenting.
Transcendence.
On the underside of the (once tender) rough-hewn skin.
Far down in. Wide-eyed, and vibrant in the fathomless below.
The dig is waiting for It. How deep will It go?
How radical will the human giant go?
