Dear Adrealm Community,

Autumn is coming and depending on where you are on this planet that might mean any number of things. Here at Adrealm HQ, both the leaves and the mercury are on a bumpy downward journey — probably like, you know, your favourite altcoin.

But the Autumn breeze is bringing more than hurricanes and typhoons of disruption to shorelines East and West. A new season of events and AI conferences has just started.

If you don’t know much about AI and/or blockchain technology, butter ready to dive in, herewith a nifty set of water wings, courtesy of The New York Times.

If you’re already free-diving in these now placid, now turbulent waters, make sure you’re also snorkelling the Yellow Sea. Despite regulations, advisories, and the occasional caveat emptor from the capital, China is actually driving the development of blockchain technology — and possibly AI, too.

Australia’s anti-conformist soul: Australia’s newly elected PM Scott Morrison is prompting blockchain technology to challenge big banks and help smaller banks take the lead in conferring greater power to customers (CCN).
