We are entering a new era for ArcadeNFT and web3 gaming experiences as we release a never seen before revolutionary smart contract we call the “Arcade Arena.” It is a major leap forward in smart contract evolution and development, the first of its kind in the space.

We developed this smart contract specifically for p2e and pvp gaming in the metaverse where ranking, prizes, and payments will all be controlled and fulfilled by the contract itself. This will ensure a truly decentralized environment where gamers rely on the authority of the blockchain to record and reward their progress of play, without a centralized point of failure for the tournament participants or the game. This contract will be the foundation upon which the next generation of our web3 games and NFTs are built.

Arcade NFT aims to be an evolving hub that builds and incubates many NFT concepts and games, and builds products that capture unaddressed demand in an innovative and user-friendly way.

Our third game was an official collaboration with CrypToadz by GREMPLIN titled Toad Runnerz. This game included new multiplayer functionality, p2e gaming missions, and even co-op gaming modes.

Our first three games accomplished three goals of our project. The first was to build a fully functional and playable NFT video game fully on-chain. This release iterated on that concept and we added p2e competitive functionality.

Metadragonz is our most ambitious product yet — a competitive p2e game built on our new Arcade Arena smart contract. This will allow us to launch with an automated bracket system connected to our multiplayer tournaments where players can compete to earn ETH. By putting the game and tournament results fully on-chain, it means that no one, not even the team, can interfere with the prize pools or payouts. All game results and reward schemes will be handled solely by the contract itself.

Bridging the Gap
This game will be the first of many direct bridges we are building between crypto communities and the established web2 online gaming communities. We spent countless hours of research deciding which game to build for our first Arcade Arena smart contract release. We knew we wanted a fun and easily recognizable game that could easily tap into existing established online gaming communities. Metadragonz is our own version of slither.io — a widely adopted and widely played MMO game, built for the masses.

Attracting new audience
In order to incentivize mass adoption, we developed a ‘free to play’ bracket where anyone can play and participate in the tournaments without owning a MetaDragonz NFT. Our core intention is to bridge web2 gamers over to the NFT gaming space and making the free-to-play bracket on our website was essential to allow the existing web2 gaming communities to experience the game and reward system before investing in the NFT to level up their earning potential.

To access the game you are not in need of a web3 wallet to play, it’s free and available for anyone, the bridge will be where players will find that they can start earning just by adding a web3 wallet to connect.

Players who decide to purchase the NFT of the game will have access to different competitive brackets and much higher prize pools. We believe this opens up the portal for online gamers to enjoy the game itself, while becoming educated on blockchain technology, NFTs, and the higher rewards that owners of the NFT can enable.

The MetaDragonz game itself is a chill gaming experience, but highly competitive and advancing in our bracket systems can be made through skill-based maneuvering.

Rules for entry

If you are a web2 gamer who has played the free version of the game, and want to participate in one of the competitive prize pools, you simply need to own the MetaDragonz NFT.

Prize Pools

At launch, commissions earned from all our Arcade NFTgame collections re-sales will be sent directly to the prize pool bank controlled fully by the Arcade Arena contract.

There will be additional prize pool boosts, such as collabs and special hosted tournaments where ETH can be sent directly to the prize pool. Collabs will include the minting of MetaDragonz skins, enabling holders to access special tournaments in the Arcade Arena. Sales and secondary commissions of these skins will also boost the Arcade Arena bank. For example, we can create a specific MetaDragonz skin in collaboration with another brand or company that would allow access to exclusive sponsored tournaments for that brand or company. This is another way we plan to scale up and build out this game for mass adoption.

We have designed our contract and our bracket system to on-board thousands of gamers to the emerging p2e NFT space.

The game will be free to play, win to earn and will allow for multiplayer experiences with an unlimited number of players. Tournaments and rewards will be automated and controlled by the smart contract.

Building for scalability

MetaDragonz and the Arena Contract will be utilized Cross-chain on Ethereum and Arbitrum.

We are true believers in on-chain gaming interactions, and have currently optimized our game to work on the Arbitrum Layer 2 network. This preserves all the benefits of on-chain gaming and makes contract interactions cost effective for the holders and players. This solution uses Ethereum L1 for security and offloads data storing and most contract interactions to L2. We will be posting a more in-depth technical medium that will dive deeper into the development work and architecture of both the game, the dynamic NFTs, and the Arcade Arena contract in the future.

Arcade NFTs has just begun to explore what is possible in the NFT gaming space. Our proprietary Arcade Arena contract is the foundation for endless gaming possibilities optimized for adoption by both the NFT gaming space and existing web2 gaming communities.
