Due to recent data privacy laws, you can now request access to your Snapchat data. While Snapchat hides the ability to access your data deep within the website and app, DataEarn makes it easy as a click to access their request page. Once you access their page, here are a series of steps that allow you to not only request your data but also leverage DataEarn’s software to easily understand what information Snapchat has about you.
Access and Understand your Snapchat
- Click here and click “Access your data”
- Log into Snapchat
3. Confirm your email and click “Submit Request”
5. Within minutes you will receive an email from Snapchat where you can download the .zip file by clicking “click here”
6. Click the blue link and download the .zip file
Once you have access to this file you can either manually go through the complex code or you can register an account with DataEarn and our algorithms will explain it to you in seconds!
7. Register and Drag and Drop the file.
8. Click upload and your Snapchat DataCards will appear
Congrats, you officially have ownership of your Snapchat data! You can see everything from your account creation date, location history, saved media, friends, data points they use to target content and advertisements, and even whose stories you view the most.
