Link In Bio Tool on Instagram

Social media nowadays only lets us use one link in our bio. That means we have to make that link as effective as possible. To do that, many (including me) use Link In Bio Tools.

So, to help you choose the better one, I created this list of 10 best Link In Bio tools.

After studying that list you’ll be able to choose the best Link In Bio tool for your needs.

TL;DR:

  • Taplink. If you’re looking for something powerful and easy to use.
  • Linkpop. If you’re selling on Shopify and would love to integrate your products quickly.
  • Shor.by. If you need something minimalistic and you’re ready to pay extra.

How To Choose The Best Link In Bio Tool

To make the list short and informative, I decided to choose three main points for each Link In Bio Tool:

  1. Key Features. What functionality can each tool provide?
  2. Shortcomings. What important features are missing?
  3. Price. How much do I have to pay for it? What can I do for free?

To test each tool, I tried to create a page for one of my clients who runs an apartment renting business. Here’s their Instagram:

Instagram Profile

My goal was to create a page with three sections:

  1. Monthly Deals. Links to current deals.
  2. Contact Us. Links to messengers.
  3. Follow Us. Links to social media.

Let’s see how much we can do with each app’s free (or trial) plan.

Ranking here is completely subjective. It’s based on my own taste and how much I enjoyed creating each page.

#1. Taplink

Taplink Page

Key Features

The strongest Taplink feature is customization. You can change literally anything: colors, fonts, animations, or icons. And if you don’t trust your own design skills, Taplink has 380 prebuild designs and 60 business templates.

When it comes to add-ons, Taplink allows you to add contact forms, FAQ sections, and even custom maps. You can also embed media content, like videos or audio if you want.

If you sell stuff, you can use Taplink to receive payments from 50+ different payment providers. And if you sell digital stuff, Taplink has a specialized Digital Products block that includes hosting, showcasing, selling, and automated delivery of your digital products.

Shortcomings

A lot of great features (like analytics to tracking link performance) are only available to paid subscribers.

Price

Taplink has a powerful free plan. But if you want extra options there are always Pro ($3/month) and Business ($6/month) plans.

#2. Beacons

Beacons Page

Key Features

Beacons is a tool for content creators, so all designs are structured by themes (music, gaming, etc.).

Beacon’s powerful analytics allow creators to track the performance of their content with ease.

They also provide a unique feature called followers count. This feature allows you to combine all the followers from your different social media and present them on your page.

Shortcomings

Even though Beacons provides users with pre-built themes the customization options are very limiting.

The same goes with receiving payments. You can do it, but using only four providers (Credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or PayPal).

Price

Beacons offers only 2 plans.

Creator, which is free. And Entrepreneur, which is $10 a month.

#3. Linkpop

Linkpop Page

Key Features

Linkpop is a perfect tool for people who sell on Shopify. It lets you integrate your products easily.

You can also add affiliate links or embed media.

Analytic is pretty strong and allows you to track link performance (visits, link clicks, and clicks per visit).

Shortcomings

The design options are almost non-existent. You cannot add images, text, or icons. You can only choose between 8 basic fonts and 2 button shapes (square or circle).

Price

Linkpop lets you start building your page for free, but if you want to use any tools besides links, you have to pay for Shopify’s Starter Plan (which is $5/month).

#4. Linktree

Linktree Page

Key Features

Linktree is the most popular Link In Bio Tool on the market.

It is a minimalistic app and really easy to use. It allows you to embed your content from the most popular platforms (like Twitter, or Youtube).

Linktree lets you receive payments from PayPal and Square. And paid plans allow you to use Google.Analytics and set SEO options.

If you are into it, Linktree has tools that let you build your own NFT gallery.

Shortcomings

Design options are too basic for any serious business.

Most useful options are paid-only.

Price

Linktree lets you start with a free plan and then update it to Starter ($5/month), Pro ($9/month), or Premium ($24/month) if you are looking for more customization and monetization.

#5. Campsite

Campsite Page

Key Features

Campsite allows you to use as many links as you want. You can easily add text and change the colors of links and background. You can also change fonts and add dividers to nicely present your content.

Using paid plans, you can add Analitycs and track your links’ traffic. You can also create schedules to make your links appear and disappear at a certain time.

Shortcomings

Unfortunately, Campsite lacks design options. There are no prebuild templates, only basic look-alike themes.

Campsite also doesn’t work with any payment providers. So if you are a seller, it’s not the best option for you.

Price

Besides a free option, Campsite offers two plans. Pro ($7/month) and Pro+ ($24/month).

#6. Shor.by

Shor.by Page

Key Features

Shor.by is a powerful tool that allows you to customize your page using icons, videos, GIFs, and text blocks.

Another great option is a customizable dynamic content feed that allows you to automate your posting from different social media.

It also provides strong analytics options and lets you retarget your customers to websites like Etsy or Shopify.

Shortcomings

Even though Shor.by lets you retarget your audience to another shop it doesn’t have an option of setting payment providers. So, the only way to receive payments is through retargeting to another website.

Much more expensive than other alternatives.

Price

Shor.by is the only tool in this list that does not offer a free plan.

You can choose ether Rocker ($15/month), Pro ($29/month) or Agency ($99/month).

#7. Lnk.bio

Lnk.bio Page

Key Features

Another minimalistic one. Lnk.bio provides you with a bunch of simple cartoonish themes where you can change colors and fonts.

You can also embed your videos or music into your page. But adding images, forms or Instagram Sync is only allowed to paid subscribers.

Shortcomings

Simple pre-built themes.

Any design changes are only allowed in paid plans.

Price

Lnk.bio offers 4 options.

You can use a free version or you can pay $0.99 monthly to get more tools.

But you also can buy two of their “One-time” deals:

  • Mini ($9.99)
  • Unique ($24.99)

#8. Bio.fm

Bio.fm Page

Key Features

Bio.fm is very similar to Linktree. It’s a simple tool with not much customization available.

It lets you add links, social media profiles, and your content from websites like Twitch, Medium, or Youtube.

Shortcomings

No customization is allowed for Free users. Also, Bio.fm only lets Free user to use 3 blocks of content. If you want to add 3 more, you have to pay.

Customization in general is pretty basic. You can change fonts and color but cannot add any images.

No payment providers or contact forms are also available.

Price

With Bio.fm you can choose between Free, Semi-Pro ($5/month) or Pro ($10/month) options.

#9. Instabio

Instabio Page

Key Features

Instabio is a simple tool that does its job well. If all you want is a simple list of links, the tool is perfect for you.

You can create links to your messengers and Social Media profiles. You can also add text and dividers to structure your page.

With its simple analytics, you can track your page’s visitors.

Shortcomings

Well, if you need more than just links, you should look at something different.

Instabio does not allow you to add images, videos, or any other kind of media. You cannot create forms or receive payments.

Price

With Insabio you get 3 options:

  1. Free
  2. Pro ($4.99/month)
  3. Premium ($9.99/month)

Liinks allows users to connect their Instagram app to the page and configure an auto-update from their feed.

Liinks lets you integrate Mailchilp to create Email Marketing campaigns.

Shortcomings

Only 8 pre-built themes (and only 2 are free). Most design options are Premium features.

As for now, adding images or forms is not supported (but developers say it’s coming soon).

Price

  3. Team ($14.99/month)
