Flow Integration
- Say goodbye to the old and hello to the new! MuleSoft Composer for Salesforce is now Flow Integration.
Flow Builder
- Want to GET data inside your flow using HTTP callouts without code? It’s currently possible! GA
- Why GET bored with just one method when you can POST it up with Flow Builder? You can send Salesforce data to an external server with ease. It’s like giving your data wings🪽 and watching it fly out 🛫 into the world! BETA
- 🎵 “Hello, it’s me.” 🎵 said one component to another. Components can talk to each other on the same screen element! Previously, components had to be placed on different screens to communicate. BETA
- Supported formula functions can now perform real-time calculations. It’s like having a math wizard in your flow 🧙♂️, always ready to update values on the same screen whenever something changes. BETA
- Choice Lookup just got promoted from BETA to GA! This feature was introduced in Spring ’23, allowing your users to search for a value instead of asking them to scroll through a long picklist to select it 😴 🛌 💤 . GA
- Data Cloud objects (fka Salesforce Genie) are supported in Flow Builder! You can use the Get Records element to fetch data. However, you can’t create, update, or delete Data Cloud data — it’s like a museum exhibit, only for looking 👀, not touching ⛔.
- Release your inner Shakespeare ✍️ and use Email Templates directly from the flow in the Send Email Action ⚡!
- Looking for something 🕵️️? Use the search bar in the Data Table component to look for records!
- “New release, new me 💅💅💅”. Flow elements have a new look! With a more compact style to fit additional elements on the screen and higher contrast to meet accessibility guidelines ♿.
Flow Management
- ⚠️ Attention, attention! ⚠️ The retirement party for Process Builder is in full swing 👴🏻! You can no longer create new processes but can still activate, deactivate, and edit already created ones.
- Feeling frustrated because you need to convert processes with scheduled actions to flows 😤? Fear not! Migrate to Flow tool 🔄 can now do that for you. “Yeah Mr. White, ̶s̶c̶i̶e̶n̶c̶e̶ technology!”
- Flow User Permissions just got a new home 🏡. Find them in Flow and Flow Orchestration section in the App Permissions.
