We’re going to use the best pointing device in the world. We’re going to use a pointing device that we’re all born with — born with ten of them. We’re going to use our fingers. We’re going to touch this with our fingers. And we have invented a new technology called multi-touch, which is phenomenal. It works like magic. — Steve Jobs

The quote above is from the iPhone presentation from MacWorld 2007 were Steve Jobs introduced the original iPhone (1st Gen. / 2G).

Why starting with this introduction? Because very often it’s really annoying to buy something with notes and coins in the supermarket and wait until you get your exchange, wait until someone before you in the line finished his payment with cash or pick the bankcard from the pocket, enter your pin put it back to the pocket. Sure, in many places you can use already Square or other services. With PayPal you can use already your fingerprint to pay with it, but you

still need your device or your cards.

Also imagine how often you have no cash carrying with you and you want something to buy where only cash is accepted.

You have no time to search for the next ATM…

The point is, besides security factors, why not using

only

the device we’re all born with. Sure there must be a device provided at the Point of Sale where you can pay by fingerprint and there must be a setup with your bank account in order to pay with a fingerprint, but it’s quite the same as if you setup your Touch ID on your iPhone.

Watch how PayTango developed already something like that
