About Me — Shubham Pachange
In the quest of understanding life and stories around.
We are surrounded by people and things all the time. Whenever we try to think from another’s point of view, naturally, we tend to feel in the same manner. We establish not only intellectual but also emotional connections with them. In this way, one’s story is not only limited to his or her sole journey but enriched by other’s experiences, too.
Eventually, this frees oneself from many stigmas, biases, and perceptions and helps to liberate. It is quite a confusing but enriching approach. My story is somewhat the reflection of many such things.
Here it is!
I am from a diverse and big country named India. I was born in a typical village. It was surrounded by farmlands, rivers, mountains and hamlets. Later, my family moved to the slums of tier-2 city due to financial conditions and prospects. After my matriculation, I moved to other states and bigger cities too, like Pune, Delhi, Mumbai etc. Here, I got a different taste of life.
My village is drought prone so does my city. Sometimes my city ranked first in crime rates. My district has been witnessing a record number of farmer suicides to date. Metropolis showed me big, towering buildings, corporate culture, distinct taste of consumerism and cutting-edge survival competition. Isn’t it sounding negative?
