Day 3 of 7: My Experience Following a Famous Author’s Daily Routine
Writing Like W.H. Auden for a full day
A poet is, before anything else, a person who is passionately in love with language. ~W.H. Auden
While I would not necessarily call myself a poet, I do love the word “passion.” Passionate people are my favorite kind of folk.
They are driven, motivated, and over-the-top.
Plus, Auden is referring to being passionate with language, with words. Anyone here on Medium can surely relate to this concept.
W.H. Auden was known for a vast array of topics from psychology and sociology to religion and culture. Like many of us, he wanted to share his thoughts through his writing. He would not be considered a niche writer. Since niche writing is a debated topic, I thought he’d be an ideal person to write like for a day.
