I Don’t Have Time to Eat Properly: The Room You Didn’t Think Success Came From

There is a room in my house that I spend a great deal of time in. And I know that the harder I work there, the greater the results. It is where the grind proves to be an investment in my week and where the effort benefits me for days to come.
It is well light, on the main floor and the source of products that keep me going. It is my war room.
The pharmacist assumes their war room is the dispensary.
The athlete assumes their war room is the gym.
The pharmacist-athlete knows their war room is the kitchen.
As essential healthcare providers working shifts, we need to eat healthy but don’t have time to cook three times per day. The more effort we put into meal planning, the more sustainable we are on duty. The more sustainable we are on duty, the longer we can be here to make an impact. The kitchen is the origin place where we can take care of ourselves, so that we can take care of others.
