Since our launch last year, the Academy Token Telegram group has been a proverbial town square where accomplishments have been shared alongside criticisms. Your engagement in the progression of ACAD has been obvious and your questions have been heard. In this series, we’ll be answering some of the questions you’ve posed in the Telegram group each week.

This week, we’re addressing the subject of change.

How can I transfer my ACAD tokens to a different wallet?

The process is slightly different to transfer any ERC20 token from one wallet to another, but the steps are similar. As we do not offer tech or customer support for other platforms, the best thing to do is to inquire how to do this from the wallet you are trying to transfer to, and follow their step-by-step instructions.

Why don’t we hear about Academy: School of Blockchain anymore?

The mission and curriculum you’ve come to associate with Academy: School of Blockchain is still very much alive. Our flagship blockchain technical training course held in January of 2018 carried the Academy name, but since then we’ve undergone some realignment with our branding.

To better represent the high quality education we provide, we’ve transitioned to include the Academy: School of Blockchain courses under the broader umbrella of Kingsland University, an institution that has been at the forefront of emerging and disruptive education for a decade. Despite this change to the program’s title, our dedication to student outcomes, career readiness, and thorough course intensives has not wavered in the slightest.

Accordingly, we continue to direct you to the Kingsland University website for updated course offerings introducing more global locations and new delivery formats that make our cutting edge curriculum more accessible for working developers.

Are courses only available in person?

The simple answer: Not anymore!

Throughout 2018, ACAD-compatible blockchain technical courses offered by Kingsland University have been conducted globally in our Immersion format, an entirely in-person delivery mechanism. Student developers are in a classroom surrounded by their peers, instructors, and teaching assistants that facilitate the immediate transfer of information and the swift resolution of questions.

This format doesn’t suit all developers, though. To better accommodate the working professionals Kingsland’s blockchain technical training is created for, Kingsland is developing additional course delivery formats that incorporate online learning. The Hybrid Immersion format, for example, combines the interpersonal benefits of traditional face-to-face learning with the modern accessibility of online coursework.
