General Updates

• On May 10th the staking app went live with a successful launch. At the time of writing, over 6000 Agve have been staked — for a locked value of over 4M -, with a current APY of 16-17%. If you wish to stake your Agave, please follow these easy steps. 1) Go on https://app.agave.finance/#/stake; 2) Connect Wallet; 3) Select the amount of Agave you wish to stake -no minimum is required-; 4) Confirm the spend approval transaction; 5) Confirm transaction. Your agave tokens are now staked!

• If you have further questions about the staking function, we’ve updated our FAQ, adding a dedicated section related to staking. Click here to check our FAQs.
• In coordination with the launch of the staking platform, we have published our newly renovated landing page, Agave.finance.

New Landing Page

• On Tuesday 11th, the community participated in a new set of votes, quickly reaching the required quorum. The votes are related to:

1. vote 19: Revest GreenHornet’s tokens

2. vote 20: Approve LP to be spent

3. vote 21: Add finance app to Aragon Dao

• We have published the recording of the DAO rush week (April 30th); Click here to listen to it.
• There are still a few days left to participate in the NFT contest held by the Agave DAO. NFT artists that wish to submit their 3d animation can do so until May 19th on the NFT channel of our Discord server.

Development Updates

• This week’s focus has been on the staking function that launched on May 10th. This function includes a lot of the key UI work that will be foundational for the primary frontend.
• Aside from fixing little bugs to the staking flow (and a net trick to make it only require a single transaction), the dev work will now be focused on Agave’s interactions.
• The testing phase will be available to the public on rinkeby as each page is made operational. We will constantly update the community as we proceed.
• We are still looking to fill a few positions in our team. If you are interested, get in touch through the #general channel in our Discord Server.
