Note from the editor

Bhor Foundation is a not-for-profit trust set up by Jhilmil Breckenridge and Namarita Kathait in New Delhi. After years of mental health advocacy and working in the fields of domestic violence, women’s rights, and working to eradicate stigma and create more inclusive spaces around disability and mental health, Jhilmil believes the time has come to take this work even higher, to soar.. Bhor means dawn, and all of us involved with Bhor hope that we can usher in a new dawn for mental health, not just in India, but everywhere. Many thanks to Vedika for this wonderful name suggestion! Here’s to a new dawn. Welcome to Bhor. –Jhilmil Breckenridge, Managing Trustee
