June has been an exciting month of back-to-back events on the European circuit, the BGA elections are well underway, and we have also welcomed and showcased several members at both on and offline events.

Board Member Election
The BGA board member elections are underway. Twenty-one BGA members put themselves forward to become potential board members, and now it is your turn to vote! The candidate brochure provides all the information you need, and you can also view the candidates’ bios and pitches.
Events
NFC Lisbon is a bustling NFT-based event that combines art, technology and gaming in one large creative space. BGA hosted five members to showcase their games at the BGA Street Eldarune, MetaStar Strikers, Synergy Land, VR Future, and Qudo. The entire area was dedicated to web3 gaming, and games like the Sandbox and Cross the Ages were also present. We also hosted a panel on analytics in web3 gaming alongside BGA members Benjamin Charbit from Life Beyond and Pedro Herrera from Dappradar, who shared their expertise on the subject.
Our side event, sponsored by BlackPool Finance and BGA member Cometh, was packed as conference attendees joined for a panel discussion that brought together expert speakers Rémy Bompar, LAND Business Director The Sandbox. Sami Chlagou, CEO, Cross The Ages. Gabin Guelou, Lab Director BlackPool Finance, and Romain Juillet, COO, Cometh, moderated by Priscilla Juliana (photo below), Marketing Director BlackPool. Web3 Berlin. Another event that enabled us to showcase exciting games, host a side event, and moderate an engaging panel discussion.
BGA hosted Rogue Nation, Forest Knight, and Wombat at the booth. During the conference, Flavien moderated the gaming panel discussion, joined by Philipp Hübner, Co-Founder of Unbound, and Adrian Krion, CEO & CO-Founder of Wombat, to discuss why players are cautious with web3 gaming.’
Our side event in collaboration with Upland and Wombat was an exciting affair, during which Upland unveiled their eagerly awaited Berlin City in the Upland Metaverse. Grab all the news in our June activity blog post.

APAC Events- Hong Kong Meetup
Our APAC ambassador teamed up with BGA members to organize a special Hong Kong meetup as BGA president Sebastien Borget was in town. Taking place at Club DAO, alliance members Animoca Brands, AWS for Games, The Sandbox, Liteflow, Lumiere Project, and OffChain Global shared their insights, followed by a networking drink and an exclusive dinner for BGA members and friends with Sebastien. BGA at Web3 Talent Fair- Paris
In Collaboration with Web3TalentFair, BGA participated in a networking event and round table discussion where BGA members MainBot, Interverse #AI, and Life Beyond Studios, who joined Flavien to explore the ideal talent profile for blockchain and gaming industries by sharing their knowledge with future budding entrepreneurs, students and future professionals. New collaborations and offers for BGA members
We are delighted to team up with OMA3, the Open Metaverse Alliance for Web3. This brings further opportunities for BGA members to contribute and work toward common standards in the metaverse to enable interoperability. OMA3 hosts several working groups and has extended the invitation for BGA members to join and contribute to shaping the future of the Metaverse.
Online events
An insightful panel discussion on Web2 & Web3 Integration in Game Analytics: Risks and Opportunities. Flavien welcomed Ata Bertay, Co-Founder at Telescope Labs, Vincent Chen, Founder of GameLand, and John Schneider, Co-founder and Chief Economist at Acxyn, for an interesting discussion on this topic.
We hosted a New Member Presentation to welcome Blockus, Fireblocks, Polyland, W3W, and Falcon Rappaport & Berkman LLP. In this session, we learn more about our newest members, who they are, and what they are currently working on.
This month, we hosted two Game Demo Days, where members showcase what they building and working on. Session 1 welcomed ChainPatrol, Blue Sky Interactive MetaBoy Inc and session 2 will see Cartesi, Union Avatars, and Gala Games showcase their latest games.
