Introduction

This report aims to analyze the setting up of a factory in India.

Findings

Firstly, the labour cost and rent in India are considerably lower than in China. Secondly, the tax policy is in favour of foreign companies. Also, India has the best geographical position in Asia, therefore, reducing logistics costs. However, we might have to incur an increase in import tax when selling our products to China.

Recommendations

Opening a transition station in a neighboring country could help solve the problem stated above.

Conclusion

It is believed that setting up in India would be profitable to our company.
