What We Believe: The Beauty of the Catholic Faith by Marcellino D’Ambrosio and Sarah Swafford debuts at the perfect time. The new book (Ascension Press, 2022) is accompanied by a 10-week study offered in our parish and many parishes nationwide. It’s also available online.

While Alpha focuses on “filling in the blanks” to explain Christianity and Bible studies reveal the Word, “What We Believe” fleshes out the story of Catholicism, why the Church founded by Jesus remains the largest religion in the world (and continues growing at a far faster rate than most realize).

D’Ambrosio told Catholic News Service that the book and related videos seek “to inspire and re-energize. Catholics who are joyful, excited, and informed have very little trouble attracting others, even the young.”
