ReFi Guild Update: Welcoming Basin DAO

The regenerative finance platform that scales climate, nature and carbon real estate projects has just been allowlisted for Charged Particles functionality.

In an effort lead by ReFi Guild contributor, TMO, Basin DAO has officially begun it’s partnership with and integration of Charged Particles. Rather than waiting for the recurring but slower-moving governance process of smart contract allowlisting, Basin DAO opted for the fast lane by sending $1000 worth of IONX tokens to the Charged Particles DAO Treasury. In this they are demoing what is a brand new use-case for the IONX token and signaling their participation in our DAO and ecosystem.

Charged Particles can retroactively enable nesting functionality for ERC-721 smart contracts on both Ethereum and Polygon. With Charged Particles enabled, you’ll be able to turn your NFTs into containers that can hold other assets inside them.

Option 1: The DAO

Submit an application in gov.charged.fi, stating which NFT contract you’d like AllowListed.
If the community is onboard, send a fee of $100 worth of IONX to the Charged Particles Community DAO. The address is:
Your application will then formally go to community vote on Snapshot. This process can take 2–4 weeks.
If successful, Charged Particles will add your contract to the AllowList. This will enable all NFTs in the contract to hold assets inside them.

Option 2: The Fast Lane

Submit an application in gov.charged.fi, stating which NFT contract you’d like AllowListed.
If the community is onboard, send a fee of $1000 worth of IONX to the Charged Particles Community DAO. The address is: 0xbd4707B67d362A0172036b41bA07D2ff18871711
Your contract will be added to the AllowList immediately.

Option 3: The Early Adopter Program

For projects that would like to integrate the Charged Particles SDK into their platforms, we recently kicked off our Early Adopter Program. This program is marked by a membership NFT.

The price of membership is $3000 worth of IONX which is then locked inside the membership NFT for the period of one year. Holders of this NFT get access not only to the SDK tooling, but also to our dev team for integration questions, partnership announcements, and other ecosystem benefits.
