Panting, you stop by the river on the edge of town. Your companions are there.
“Let’s see what we got,” you say.
Before long, you are looking at a heap of stolen objects: a bow and arrows, a dagger, a rusty longsword, a leather cuirass, a small runestone, three shriveled mushrooms, and a frying pan.
“Not quite sure this’ll cut it…” muses Tox’ar.
“I can…” begins Naya.
Then you realize that Polki is agitated. “The orcs took Powzi — my brother!” squeals the goblin.
You frown. “Know where they took him?”
“Near the mountains in the forest’s heart, I was told.”
