We often hear that health is the most important element in our lives, first comes health and then everything else. However, being healthy is often taken for granted. Coronavirus once again showed us how essential is health for human beings and that being healthy definitely is the basic need. That is exactly why it is must to include health in the concept of sustainable development and according to the UN, Goal number 3 of sustainable development goals is Good health and well-being.

Goal 3: Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages

Two of the Goal 3 Targets are :(1)Substantially increase health financing and the recruitment, development, training and retention of the health workforce in developing countries, especially in the least developed countries and small island developing States. (2)Strengthen the capacity of all countries, in particular developing countries, for early warning, risk reduction and management of national and global health risks. The UN is actively taking part in developing ways to prevent disease all around the world.

Millions of people are affected by the coronavirus, many of them are infected, some of them are dead. Other parts of society, who are isolated are under one of those risk-groups, who can experience mental health problems due to the isolation and overwhelming.

The importance of mental health is so important that WHO has created a special report that addresses resources related to mental health issues caused by the Coronavirus situation.

Since CSD INTERNATIONAL publication is a digital destination that increases awareness and promotes sustainable development, we have decided to dedicate the whole week to Health and wellness and excited to introduce you with different completely free resources, tips, tricks and advice to help you find the best way to live and feel better.
