Hi! I’m LaiYee, the co-founder of Delve (www.delvetool.com), which is an online CAQDAS tool that we built because of our own frustrations with the existing analysis solutions.

Delve allows you to find patterns amongst transcripts from long form semi-structured methods such as in-depth interviews or focus groups. You can code and organize the quotes, see the data from different dimensions, and see the major themes. You can deliver more rigorous research reports without slowing down your process.

Benefits of using Delve:

  • Fully collaborative. It’s online so any team member with internet access can analyze the project, from anywhere in the world. It live updates across all accounts so you don’t have syncing issues.
  • Simple and intuitive to use. There’s no learning curve and you don’t have to do extensive training to get started. It’s designed so that you can just jump right in and get started
  • Nested hierarchy for codes. You can group and re-arrange the codes into hierarchy. Many of the newer platforms have flat structures which are very limiting for in-depth analysis. Delve enables you to organize into groups and hierarchy.
  • Global search. You can search across all transcripts in a project.
  • Filter by demographics and participant information. You can store metadata about demographics or other attributes, and easily filter by them to do comparative analysis.
  • Easily export data. You can export into .csv or .doc formats which are easily transferrable to most other software.
  • Affordable pricing. We offer a very accessible monthly subscription price that you only have to pay for during the months that you want to use it. Since we also have easy exports, you don’t have to ever worry about losing access to your data.

If you’re interested in learning about our core values and why we built Delve, my co-founder and I speak about it on ThisAnthroLife podcast.

If you want to see a case study, here’s one we wrote about how DonorsChoose used Delve to find opportunities to help teachers.

Let me know if you’d be interested in a free trial, or seeing a demo of Delve.

Thanks!
