Day 188 or “The Day Stormy Is A Good Girl”

The morning is quick and painless. She’s up on time, eats her breakfast and makes the bus with minutes to spare. It’s the perfect morning. I scoot off to work and, while the day is long, I keep the thought of getting home and watching movies with Stormy in mind.
I expect the worst but the evening passes without incident. We watch two movies — Smurfs and Trolls again. And then it’s time for bed. She even goes to sleep in her own bedroom tonight. I suspect she’s been stolen and replaced by elves.
