Some of us have longed to become fathers and some of us haven’t. Regardless, the act of “fathering” can be all-consuming. From diapers and discipline to goofy antics and difficult conversations, most can agree that the first line of the job description of a father is “other duties as assigned.” At Fathering Together, we understand this and recognize that many of the most important aspects of fatherhood can be lost to the mundanity of it all. There are very few moments where father’s get recognized for assisting your partner in the middle of the night with breastfeeding or changing the endless line of dirty diapers or staying up late because your child is out past curfew. And we have either eye-rolled our father’s bad jokes or taunted our children with those same bad jokes years later. But, those moments matter.
