How to get your $H2ON Tokens

It's officially the day that you have decided to get your H2ON Tokens, however, you need some assistance or subtle reminders on how to go about doing this. This article will assist you with how to purchase H2ON on BitMart or swap tokens for H2ON on ApeSwap.

We will assume that you have already set up your cryptocurrency wallet, however, if you have not yet set up your own cryptocurrency wallet, you can refer to our guide on how to set up a MetaMask wallet here. It is important that your wallet is set up correctly so please make sure that you have followed the instructions before proceeding.

Purchasing H2ON on BitMart

Follow the simple steps below to purchase your H2ON Tokens on BitMart and get them into your wallet.

Step1. Purchase USDT

You will need to purchase USDT in order to be able to get your H2ON Tokens on Bitmart. You can check the current trading price for H2ON so that you know how much USDT you will require in order to acquire the number of H2ON Tokens you want. You can check the price chart here.

Then you will need to go to the Buy/Sell page in order to purchase USDT (shown in the image below).

Enter the amount of USDT that you would like to purchase and select the currency that you would like to pay for your USDT from the list of available FIAT currencies. Please note that there is a minimum amount that you must purchase per currency, for example, for USD, the amount is $30 and this minimum can increase or decrease based on the service provider’s offer you select.

Once you are happy, click the “Buy” button and select one of the offers that are available (as shown in the image below). Then click “Buy” and follow the steps to complete the payment. Once completed, your USDT will be available in your Bitmart exchange wallet and you can move to step2.

Step2. Purchase H2ON

Navigate to the H2ON price chart page. You will see the price chart for H2ON/USDT in the middle of the page. Just below the price chart on the left, you will see the section shown in the image below.

The quickest and easiest way to get your H2ON Tokens is to click on the market button and pay the current market price. You can also place a limit order to purchase at a specific price but you may have to wait sometime for your order to be filled.

Next, you will need to select the amount of H2ON that you would like to purchase. You can either type in your amount or choose what portion of your USDT deposit you would like to use, by clicking on the percentage buttons. When you are happy and have confirmed everything is correct, click the “Buy H2ON” button.

Your purchase will now be confirmed and your balance will become available on the exchange. Please note that these assets will not reflect in your cryptocurrency wallet and will only show in your wallet once they have been withdrawn from the exchange (see step 3).

Step3. Withdraw your H2ON to your MetaMask wallet (or another cryptocurrency wallet of your choice)

Click on “Assets” located on the top menu options (look on the right-hand side), then select “Spot”. When the page loads, in the search input field, type “H2ON” in order to bring up your H2ON details as shown below.

You should see your H2ON balance displayed and this is the amount that is available to you to transfer to your MetaMask wallet or another cryptocurrency wallet of your choice.

Now click on the withdraw button and select “Send via Crypto Network”

Selecting this option will open up the withdrawal input box as per the below image. You will now need to enter the withdrawal address.

The withdrawal address is your MetaMask or other wallet address. You can get your MetaMask wallet address by opening your Metamask wallet and tapping on the wallet address as shown in the image below. This will copy it to the clipboard.

Please be very careful and make sure that you copy and subsequently paste your wallet address correctly and double-check that it is correct before you click withdraw. If you get this wrong, there is no undo button.

Once you have entered your wallet address, enter the amount of H2ON that you would like to transfer and note the withdrawal fees that will be charged. Once you are happy, click the “Withdraw” button.

Your transaction will now be processed. Once complete, BitMart sends you a confirmation message and at this point, your H2ON will show in your MetaMask or other selected wallet.

How to swap tokens for H2ON on ApeSwap

For mobile, you must use the web 3-enabled browser inside of your wallet and the steps below will guide you and show you how to do this. The steps are identical from Step 3 onwards if using your desktop browser to swap tokens (suggest you use your Chrome browser).

Step 1: Open your crypto wallet mobile app on your mobile device (in this example, we are using the MetaMask app). Click on the Menu option as indicated in (1) below.

Step 2: Next you will need to access the browser inside of your wallet and navigate the browser to https://apeswap.finance/ (For desktop, go directly to this URL once logged into your MetaMask or crypto wallet).

To access your browser on the MetaMask app, click on the “Browser” option from the menu as indicated in (2) below.

Step 3: On the top right-hand side, click “Connect” as shown in (3) above.

Step 4: Now select your preferred wallet from the list. In this example, we will select MetaMask as indicated in (4) above.

Step 5: A pop-up box will open like in (5) below. Check that your correct wallet is indicated on the pop-up and click connect to connect ApeSwap to your wallet.

You will now see that your wallet is connected as shown in (6) above.

Step 6. Next, you can click on “Ape In” to begin the process of swapping tokens. In the from section, select the token that you want to swap for H2ON from the list of available tokens. This must be a token that you currently hold and have a balance for. Select the amount of this token that you would like to swap for H2ON. Once done, select H2ON for the “To” token section and then click the “Swap” button at the bottom to confirm.

Your transaction will now be processed and once complete, you will receive a notification of success and you will now have H2ON in your wallet.
