Welcome to Happy Brain Club

Happy Brain Club is a Medium-based publication.

You’ll find articles about self-development, mental health, psychology, productivity, happiness and more.

The publication loves unusual or quirky methods to help us all get where we want to be, be that taking magic mushrooms to quit smoking or using improvisational comedy (or even ordering a pizza from MacDonald’s) to help with shyness or anxiety. Whatever it takes to get us better, healthier or happier.

But it’s also important to make sure that any claims are science-backed or based on effective modern therapy techniques. You won’t find any Law of Attraction or fad diet advice here. You will find writers and therapists writing about their ides in simple, helpful and interesting ways.

You’ll also find personal essays with interesting and useful life perspectives to get you thinking.

People seeking to make their lives better will always find a way, and this publication aims to be a place that holds tried and tested information for just that, as well as inspiring stories by others who’ve made themselves and others happier.

The Happy Brain Club was started by editor Alexander M. Combstrong, and will feature stories and perspectives from a range of people, all looking to make the world a little happier.
