In your 24-Hour day, you either lift yourself a few steps “Up” or put yourself a few steps “Down”. The constant struggle to prove yourself in your daily hustle has kept you on the other side of happiness always.

Your life is a mixture of multiple ingredients of which a few ingredients resemble the ingredients of food which when added extra can turn your day upside down.

What are these life ingredients?

These can be portrayed as the basic ABCDs of your life which when mixed in good proportions can help you evolve like a person that you or others have dreamed of and where you don’t overlook life’s beauty.

You might be wondering what these ABCDs are.

A — Anger, anxiety, and Fear

B — Beautiful, bright, and bliss

C — Calm and Composed

D — Depression, Desire, and Disappointment

There is another ingredient called “S” which resembles “Stress”. Most of them would be familiar with it as it comes, stays, and goes by quite often. It does affect you during different times of the day and tries hard to test if you can be a victim of it when you shouldn’t.

The mind can go either direction under stress — toward positive or toward negative: on or off. Think of it as a spectrum whose extremes are unconsciousness at the negative end and hyperconsciousness at the positive end. The way the mind will lean under stress is strongly influenced by training.
― Frank Herbert, Dune

Stress can cause you to disguise yourself as a person you never used to be. It can make you a monster or make a human and it all depends on how you perceive or handle things. Sometimes unworthy stress (insignificant) can kick in which should be ignored but most of you pay attention to it.

Why do you pay attention? Coz you react to pressures and situations way too much than required. Why is this pressure created? Either you fear losing yourself or you fear losing others. This specifically comes when you build fewer strategies and please people every day to get things done.

You once told me, You wanted to find
Yourself in the world — And I told you to
First, apply within, To discover the world
within you.

You once told me, You wanted to save
The world from all its wars — And I told you to
First, save yourself, From the world,
And all the wars You put yourself Through.

Suzy Kassem

To get rid of these there are some daily pills that when not overdosed can help you untie yourself from this mucked-up routine or insignificant stress. Are these pills easy to swallow? Well, it all depends on how much you want your life to dissolve in you than in others.

7 Hard Pills To Swallow To Untie From Daily Unworthy Stress

These hard pills may or may not be easy to swallow. A few phases of your day can be toxic while a few can be heartwarming. Whilst the toxic phases these pills can help you frame a broader outlook in your life or day.

1. Social Media is Just Another Manipulation In Your Life

With social media comes unwanted stress as it is not the same as you see it. Social media platforms often present you with a blend of emotions that show you the essence of love, the exaggerated happiness in one’s life, the downfall of a person, and unrealistic or deceiving information. You may feel like you are missing out on these beautiful experiences or important information that you compare with your own lives unfavorably, leading to unwanted stress and getting digitally hooked.

2. Stop Letting Other People’s Opinions Guide Your Future

When other people’s opinions become a guide to your life you are ending up limiting yourself from making any decisions. This fear resembles you like a television set that dances based on the selection made on the remote control (others). When your values do not match you feel torn as the only thing that you can do is please others in that present moment. This need for acceptance can create stress as you are not trying to meet your own expectations but trying to meet what others have for you. You need to meet your own expectations to lead a life that is free from stress.

3. If You Don’t Set Boundaries You Will Traumatize Yourself

Setting your own boundaries of the do’s and don’ts help you to live a life or day basis your expectations. When you enforce these boundaries you find yourself enclosed in a box where you see what you have thought about. Where you are not pleasing anyone anymore, you are not living for others but yourself, you keep happiness above materialistic possessions, where stress is just an easy digestive pill that you need. When you do not set them stress arouses even for the most peculiar things and when you do you know the do’s and don’ts.

4. Comparison Is A Setback In Your Life

You are fueling a fire of stress when you compare yourself with others where you feel the grass is green on the other side. When you want to surpass others in the hunger for growth you end up in a cycle of comparison trying to measure others rather than focusing on your own growth and well-being inducing or fueling yourself with more stress. When you see yourself falling down or short in comparison you become a victim of self-doubt, self-criticism, self-confidence, and self-learner, contributing more to stress and less to well-being. You need to give it a halt to break free from the stress.

5. The World Is Selfish, You Need To Put Yourself First

Your obligations of prioritizing yourself in the last decide how much burdensome stress you will take home daily. You will find yourself constantly being pulled in different directions where you fail to care about yourself and let the feeling of resentment enter your nerves. In a constantly growing selfish world, people primarily disregard and dismiss the struggle of others and foster a sense of social or emotional isolation causing a ruckus in your own life. If the world can be selfish you can be too.

6. Trust Even If Built, Can be Traumatizing and Manipulating

Trust can be vulnerable as you tend to open and spill all the beans which can help others manipulate you. Sometimes you fall under the deceitful tactics a person plays by which they exploit you to fulfill their dreams. You trust others more than your own mind or heart. All this looks good in the start but when the other person finds you to be a “not-so-knowing-this-world” they hunt you down by playing the trust card where you end up being a victim of betrayal and toxicity.

7. Life Can Be Unfair, You Either Move Up or Move Down

Most of you build a life in your mind that you think you will live until you die. When the outlook of life seems to be surprising you with some unfair phases you refrain from it as you lack the ability to mentally connect to the situations. This leads to a heightened sense of uncertainty as you were skeptical about your future and its outcomes. Feed your mind with the uncertainties and the way you accept them in your life so that you don’t become the victim of your own mind.

Stress is susceptible when you don’t foster yourself to the hard truths about life’s most honest lessons that teach you to evolve as a strong human. When you understand the importance you tend to swallow your hardships easily without circling around the same lessons.

Now, you need to choose which pills you want to consume, whether the ones prescribed or the ones aforementioned. As the former circle around the latter when mixed in the right proportions can untie you from the unwanted stress.
