In April we were delighted to see that the WeTeam dApp, a DAO tool granted by the IRIS Foundation, has launched on IRIS Hub via iService, marking a zero-to-one achievement of the IRISnet DAO ecosystem. With more DAO features underway, we’ll see a more efficient and decentralized network in the near future, and you’ll be there to witness, participate in, and enjoy all the new possibilities coming from it.
Another exciting announcement is that Ignite (formerly Tendermint) has launched the Accelerator Program, a $150M-backed program for Web3 builders, together with Ignite CLI and Ignite Ventures, which has included IRISnet in its first-batch investment list! Apply for your projects on ignite.com now!
For token utility, we will roll out a new rIRIS liquidity staking solution with StaFi, find more details in our announcement.

⭐ Ecosystem Updates ⭐
IRIS Foundation Grantee WeTeam Launched DAO Tool on IRISnet Mainnet
WeTeam, winner of the tech-grant by IRIS Foundation, has recently launched its DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) Tool. The WeTeam dApp is the first DAO tooling platform launched on IRISnet mainnet.
Powered by IRISnet’s unique iService and robust interchain capacity, the WeTeam dApp provides a set of convenient DAO management features, and has the potential to support the future development of Cosmos/IRISnet ecosystems in a more decentralized manner.
Ignite Announced Accelerator Program & Ignite Ventures Has Supported IRISnet
On April 12, Ignite (formerly Tendermint, the core dev team behind Cosmos) announced Ignite Accelerator, the $150M-backed program for Web3 builders, together with Ignite CLI and Ignite Ventures.
As a long-time contributor to Cosmos, IRISnet is glad to be supported by the brilliant Ignite Ventures.
StaFiHub and IRISnet Teamed up to Launch rIRIS Token Liquid Staking Solution
IRISnet and StaFiHub have established strategic cooperation to develop and launch the rIRIS token liquid staking solution (rIRIS Solution) for IRISnet native token, which will be the first rToken developed on StaFiHub Liquid Staking SDK in the StaFiHub ecosystem.
This partnership unlocks more opportunities between IRISnet and StaFiHub. IRISnet will provide the validation service to secure the StaFiHub mainnet. Also, we will collaborate with StaFiHub to explore more use cases for the rIRIS solution, including its integration into DeFi platforms and widespread adoption within the Cosmos Ecosystem.
⭐ Community Updates ⭐
The 13th Execution | Eco-development Funds Community Management Plan
In April 2021, the IRIS Foundation launched a new Ecosystem Development Program, which included the Eco-Development Funds Community Management Plan. The Foundation will undelegate about 300 million IRIS gradually, and then transfer these assets into the Community Pool in batches.
Through on-chain governance proposal submission, every community member can co-manage all assets in the community pool for the purpose of enhancing the ecosystem.

IRISnet Ambassador Program is Going On!
Announced on January 29, 2021, the IRISnet Ambassador Program aims to recruit passionate IRISnet community members to work side-by-side with the core team to build and grow the decentralized IRISnet community.
The Program is still going on. At the current stage, we’re looking for qualified candidates for the position of IRISnet Hispanic community manager.
We expect you to be:
