What we have achieved at LGO in Q2

Although we are constantly thinking about our next steps, we figured it was also important to take time to look back at the long path we have traveled and all of the accomplishments we have achieved in a short period of time.

LGO moves efficiently, and we are thrilled to see our project grow at the rate that it has. In this article, we are very proud to share a brief summary of our accomplishments during the past 3 months.

Team

Last quarter, we dedicated an abundance of our time and resources on recruitment — we made it a priority to continue building a passionate, talented and experienced team that will bring fresh ideas, expertise and insights into our operations. After all, a project is only as good as the team behind it.

In both our New York City and Bordeaux offices, we are bringing in leaders with proven track records and team members who will play a pivotal role to account for our planned scalability during our upcoming chapter.

We have added a number of critical hires to the team, including:

Tech

  • We are enhancing our trading algorithms to provide a satisfying trade execution time for our customers while maintaining the efficiency of our Matching Engine and anti-front running solution.
  • We proposed an initial version of the trading interface with a solid structure and a straightforward execution display. We have shared the interface with you in a dedicated post.
  • We continuously optimize the UI/UX of our applications to attract and gain more client acceptance for the official release.
  • Over the last few weeks, we have been working on the settlement and withdrawal processes with more information to come…

Start of LGO Launch

We also successfully launched the LGO TGE Agency — LGO Launch in early July!

Why? The reason is simple: It all started after the success of our TGE. Entrepreneurs from other blockchain related projects conducting their own token sales approached us seeking strategies, knowledge and guidance. We initially helped them in a very informal manner and quickly came to understand how valuable our strategies and knowledge were to these projects.The opportunity was right in front of us — because we need to grow our network ahead of the exchange’s launch, scheduled in November, we believe that providing our services and support for other TGEs (Token Generation Events) will bring growth to our community and a wealth of volume to our exchange.

We have also been traveling the world in order to meet with potential investors, grow our network and stay in touch with our community.

In Q2, we went to London, Amsterdam, Seoul and all across China. We took advantage of every opportunity we had to network with individuals involved in the space, whether it was during the day or at night.

We had important meetings with some very high profile clients, who have expressed a strong interest in our services. Our interactions with different clients have enabled us to further emphasize the power of LGO’s value proposition, as well as determine the high level of demand that exists for a platform such as ours.

This is due to the fact that our product resonates to the needs of institutional players who are currently not able to enter the market because of infrastructure constraints. We have maintained an ongoing back and forth with these clients — as with any prospective clients that we’ve talked to so far — in order to build the most efficient platform possible.

Compliance

Since day one, we have been committed to making LGO Markets a fully compliant and regulated platform. Besides hiring a highly experienced Chief Compliance Officer, LGO Markets (our cryptocurrency platform) is currently applying for a BitLicense through the NY State Department of Financial Services (“NYS DFS”).

LGO Securities (our digital securities platform, subsidiary of LGO Markets) is applying for FINRA Membership as well as registering as Alternative Trading System (“ATS”) with the SEC — the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Both platforms will have a complete onboarding process which includes Anti Money Laundering (“AML”) and Know Your Customer (“KYC”) checks.
