The Molder Collection rolled out a major NFT milestone: a UI for composing cryptocollectibles! Mokens.io is the first DApp to give users a code-free experience to use ERC998.

That’s right, your moken can now be the proud parent of CryptoKitty children! You can easily compose CryptoKitties to your non-fungible token in a few simple steps. In the future, you will be able to add other cryptocollectibles like Ethermons to your moken and have the ability to compose ERC20 tokens, like TRX or DAI, with mokens.io.

If you have not yet purchased a moken, please read this article on “How Do I make a moken?” If you are an existing Molder (moken holder), you may proceed with the following directions.

Ensure your MetaMask is unlocked, or you are using a Web3 Ethereum Browser like Trust or Cipher, and go to mokens.io.

Click on Account from the Menu.

Select the moken you would like to “Compose”. In this example, I want to compose CryptoKitties to Moken 0.

On the left side, under the display of your moken image, you can see the “Add Child Cryptocollectibles” box.

Click the drop-down on “Select Contracts” and select CryptoKitties.

At step 1, you will be prompted to enter the Token ID of your CryptoKitty. This can easily be found in the URL of your CryptoKitty.

Note: Make Sure that you are the owner of this kitty! You will not be able to approve the transfer if the kitty is not in the wallet you are approving the transfer from.

At step 2, click on “Approve Mokens Contract”.

MetaMask will prompt you to confirm this transaction.

Once the Ethereum Blockchain has confirmed, you will see a message letting you know it was successful!

At Step 3, click “Transfer to Moken”. This will prompt you for a second transaction in metamask. Confirm this transaction. After the Ethereum Blockchain confirms the transaction, you will see this message:

You can verify that the kitty is now owned by moken 0 in Etherscan and can now see in CryptoKitties the mokens contract is the custodial owner of your kitty!

I repeated this process for a second child kitty to be owned by Moken 0.

Congrats! You have now completed this tutorial on composing CryptoKitties to a moken!

If you have a proposal for the next era, please create a New Era Proposal in the Mokens GitHub! Please reach out to Nick Mudge if you have a project or collectible you would like to partner with mokens.io on.

You can also tweet us questions at @mokens_io or join the movement on Discord or Tok’n’talk. If you would like to see specific ERC721 cryptocollectibles or ERC20 tokens added to mokens.io UI for composing.
