This is an explanation of “KP Battle,” the main content of MCS.Acquire as much KP as possible to eventually evolve cards into Shin Cards.
What is KP Battle?
Using your Deck of 10 Kami-Cards you’ll do battle.
If you win the KP Battle, your Kami Card will increase in KP, if you lose, you lose KP.

How to play KP Battle
- For basic battle rules, please click here.
- To start a KP Battle, go to the “Cards” page and set up a deck of 10 cards in advance so as not to exceed the deck cost.
* The maximum deck cost is 55 during the Premier Beta Service.
* The maximum deck cost varies depending on the regulations.
* Multiple cards of the same card type (same number/element/Kami) cannot be used in a deck.
*No distinction is made between Shin Cards and Kami Cards.
*The specification of the same card may change depending on the regulations.(* Updated Feb.1st) - The Pre-Charge value for KP Battles is 10～20KP.
* The Pre-Charge value varies depending on the regulations. - In order to participate in KP Battles, all cards in your deck must have at least the same amount of KP as the Pre-Charge value. if even one card violates this condition, you will not be able to match.
- Once a match is made, players are gathered in the waiting room. In the waiting room, you can change the deck and view the player’s stats.
- During the game, KPs that are “charge” are stocked in “pool” and KPs from the pool are distributed to each card when you win the game.
In the KP distribution at the time of victory, 90% of the acquired KP excluding the charge KP of the winner from the pool are distributed according to the charge amount ratio of each card.
The amount of KP for Play Charge is capped at the total amount of Pre-Charge for that game.(*Updated Mar. 1st)
In addition, 20% of the play charge will be put into the KP jackpot.(* Updated Feb.12th)

During matching, the following actions cannot be performed on cards included in the deck.
- Kami cards cannot be used for Absorb.
- Cards cannot be evolved into Shin Cards.
- The Convert Card cannot be re-converted to MCH.
These locks will be removed after the battle is over.
About Region Points (LP)
Regardless of whether you win or lose a battle, all KP that is Charged are converted into Legion Points (LP) and accumulated as equivalent.
LP can be earned as a reward for the Official Cup.
LP will be referenced in events such as the Legion Cup (tentative name), which will be implemented after the official release to determine the strongest player in the MCS world. For more details, please wait for the announcement after the official release.
About KP Jackpot
2% of KP in the playing charge (won by the winner) in KP Battles and 10% of the entry charge (KP) in the Official Cup will be pooled into the KP Jackpot.
The KP Pooled into the KP Jackpot will be distributed at a low rate to the Shin Card used by the winner of the KP Battle, as well as to the Shin-Card of the player belonging to the winning Legion.
* The percentage of the Pool is subject to change.
* There will be no distribution of KP Jackpots in the Premier Beta Service; the KP pooled in the KP Jackpot will be carried over to the official release and beyond for future distribution.
