What is the Official Cup?

An official cup takes place every Saturday (around 02:00–15:30UTC) and Sunday (around 00:00–03:30UTC).
* Please note that the schedule is subject to change.

In the Official Cup, rankings are determined for each event by winning battles between players; the top finishers in the Official Cup will receive rewards such as Kami-Cards, Limited Cards, and LP (Legion Points).
(After the official release)

Official Cup: Schedule

Two official cups are held every Saturday night and Sunday morning in Japan time, JST( Saturday morning and Sunday night in UTC time).
It is possible to enter either cup.
Entry time begins 30 minutes before the start of the Main Battle to one hour before the end of the Main Battle. You can edit your deck 30-minutes before the Main Battle starts.

Common Rules for Official Cups

  • To enter the Official Cups, click on the respective cup button in the “Events” → “Official Cups” section of the screen’s main menu.
  • In the Official Cup, the maximum deck cost (total number in the deck) in the deck template is limited by the regulations of the Cup.
    * Kami-Cards and Shin-Cards can be used.
  • (* Updated Feb.1st) Multiple cards of the same card type (same number/element/Kami) cannot be used in a deck.
*You can’t have more than one same card in your deck.
*No distinction is made between Shin Cards and Kami Cards.
*You can add them to the spare cards described below.
  • In addition to the deck selection at the time of entry, a specified number of cards can be selected as a reserve. All cards entered in the Official Cup are called “Cup Cards”.
  • To enter a Cup Battle, you must spend a specified amount of KP (varies depending on the competition) from all of Cup Cards as an entry charge. Thus if one of your Cup Cards does not have the KP value required by the entry charge, you will not be able to enter.
  • The Official Cup does not use KP, but uses temporary event-specific Battle Points (BPs).
All Cup Cards entered in the Official Cup will be awarded 1,000 BP. During the Official Cup, your BP will increase or decrease depending on whether you win or lose the battle; your ranking will be determined based on the amount of BP you have earned.
When the Official Cup ends, your BP will be reset. Even if your BP drops to null, your cards will not disappear.
  • In order to be matched in the Official Cup, all cards in your deck must have the same amount of BP as the Pre-Charge value, even if one card violates this condition, you will not be able to match.
The Pre-Charge value will increase as time passes in the Main Battle (or number of sets in the Final Battle) (see below).
  • During the official cup period, Cup Cards will be locked up until the end of the official cup. While locked up, the card cannot be transferred or converted.

Deck Formation after Entry

After entering, you can organize your deck from among the cup cards within the range of the deck cost. You cannot change the formation after matching.

About Cup Structure

Cup Structure determines the increase in BP required for pre-charge over time (or number of sets in Final Battle).

  • Main Battle Cup Structure
The default value is 10 BP, and increases by 10 BP every 30 minutes from the start: 20 BP, 30 BP, 40 BP, and so on.

The cup structure will vary according to the cup battle regulations.
You can check the current cup structure on the Official Cup top page.

About Charge Action

In the Official Cup, you can perform Charge Actions just like in KP battles (it will be BP that you use). The coefficients for Recharge/Hypercharge are as follows

  • Charge: 40% of the pool up to the previous battle
  • Re-Charge: Pre-Charge x 2.3
  • Hyper-Charge: Re-charge x 2.3 times

* Re-Charge/Hyper-Charge coefficients will vary according to the Cup Battle regulations.

Main Battle and Number of Battles

Main Battle will last for two hours from the start of the Cup Battle. In order to advance to the Final Battle, you must play a minimum of six battles.
There is no upper limit to the number of battles.
* The Number of battles in Main Battle will vary depending on the regulations of the Cup.

Ranking Update

Ranking is reflected in real time. During the Main Battle, the ranking will fluctuate depending on the increase or decrease in BP, but users who have not played the specified number of battles at the end of the Main Battle will not be included in the final ranking.

The top four players by rank at the end of the main battle will advance to the final battle.

Final Battle

Matching for the Final Battle will begin 15 minutes after the Main Battle ends.

Those who advance to the Final Battle will receive an invitation notification as soon as the results of the Main Battle have been tallied.
Matching for the Final Battle will begin 15 minutes after the end of the Main Battle and will last for 5 minutes.
Note: Players who do not press the Start Matching button before the start of the Final Battle will be disqualified!
The start time for the second set of battles is 5 minutes after the end of the first set of battles. A countdown to the start of the next battle will be displayed on the screen.

The Final Battle has a total of five sets.
BP will be taken over from the main battle. Please be careful not to cause any cup structure violations.

About “Eliminations” and “Disqualifications” (*Updated Feb.12th)

If you are eliminated or disqualified from the Final Battle, your position in the Final Battle will be determined at that point.
Defeat” refers to a situation in which a player is unable to proceed to the next battle due to a regulation violation at the end of the battle. This will be determined immediately at the end of the Main Battle and Final Battle.
Example: There is a card that lacks Pre-Charge BP and cannot be formed even if a spare card is used.
You will be disqualified if you do not press the “Start Matching” button by the start time of the next battle.
If there is a player who is eliminated and a player who is disqualified at the end of the first set, the fourth place will be the eliminated player and the third place will be the disqualified player because the elimination decision is made first. If you are unable to participate in all five sets and are eliminated or disqualified during the tournament, your ranking will be determined regardless of how much BP you earned during the tournament.

* In addition, if you do not press the Start Matching button before the start of the battle for all sets, you will be disqualified at that point and your position in the Final Battle will be determined. If you enter the Waiting Room but are Disconnected due to poor communication or other reasons, your cards will be automatically selected (*In this case, you will not be disqualified).
If two or more players are disqualified at the same time, the Main Battle standings will be referenced and used for final rankings.

The Cup Structure for the Final Battle is as follows.
* The cup structure is subject to change depending on the regulations.

1set: 60BP required
2set: 70BP
3set: 80BP
4set: 90BP
5set: 100BP

At the end of the set, you will return to the top of the cup battle, where you will have a five-minute interval to reorganize your deck.
You can press the Start Matching button immediately, but it will not move to the waiting room until all members who are available for the next set have pressed the Start Matching button. However, if 5 minutes have passed since the end of the set, only the members who pressed the matching button at that time will move to the waiting room.
Final Battle rankings are determined by the final increase or decrease in BP for the five Final Battle sets only.

Judging Rankings in the Event of Equal BP Gains (Updated Feb.12th)

In both Main Battle and Final Battle, the following is how the rankings will be determined in the event of a tie in BP.
1. Compare the cards with the most BP within the cup cards (the player with the highest BP will be ranked higher).
2. If there is a tie in the first BP comparison, the card with the second highest BP is compared (the decision is repeated as long as there is a third and fourth cup card).
If the player with 10 cup cards and the player with 15 cup cards have the same BP, the player with 10 cup cards will not be able to proceed to the 11th round, so the player with 15 cup cards will be the winner.
3. If the BP comparison does not result in a verdict, the player with the smaller player ID is the winner.

Prohibited acts

Simultaneous use of multiple accounts for the purpose of manipulating the rankings is prohibited.
Similarly, teaming for the purpose of manipulating the rankings is prohibited.
Violations will be dealt with severely (account suspension, deprivation of trophies, rewards, LP, etc.).

Please also check the Terms of Use.
