My first sky dive!

I took the plunge, quite literally! Yesterday, ie Saturday the 16th of February 2008, I jumped out of a plane at 13,000 feet, was in free fall for 60 seconds and floated down to earth slowed down by a parachute!

The one

I had an enlightening conversation with skm today. He was talking about the Vedas and the abstractness of the philosophy contained in them! It is very very interesting. I think I will make a serious effort to relearn Sanskrit and read some verses everyday.

Small things that help!

I scraped my knuckle while climbing today. Was a tiny scrape but it was bleeding, so I needed a band-aid. Discovered that someone has invented knuckle band-aids, ie band-aids that allow you to bend your finger with the band-aid on the knuckle!
