We need to figure out better ways to fund open source software. This is a problem I’ve thought a lot about over the last few years, and what follows is a long exploration.
rockbot: “I’ll be right back, save my rock spot”
maxogden: “Sure, I’ll save rockbot’s rockspot”
rockbot: “Uh oh…”
izs: “If we made a graph of all the rocks she sat on, it could be a box plot”
For your listening pleasure.
Risk is everywhere. It’s there when you do your morning routine, when you travel to and from…
We all have a story.
That story is all part of a collective story.
It feeds into us. Inspires us. Motivates us. Makes us want to get up in the morning.
Open source is cool for lots of reasons.
The thing I like the most is that you can fork a project and create your own independent thing. Don’t like a detail in a project? Just fork it.
