  • Account Unification is coming to Astar Portal, which allows users to interact with both EVM and Wasm environments using a single account. This makes the portal easier to use than ever and simplifies onboarding for users of other EVM ecosystems.
  • The Astar Peers Program is being revamped to be more inclusive. This revised proposal is poised to launch a robust incentivization program, inviting community members from underrepresented regions to run nodes.
  • New cross-chain transfers of DOT are now live in Nova Wallet. You can now easily transfer DOT between Astar < → Polkadot, Moonbeam, HydraDX, Bifrost, Interlay, Acala, Pendulum, and Parallel using Nova.
  • Astar zkEVM will be launched on testnet this month. It is a L2 powered by Gelato that provides hosting, monitoring, and Web3 services.

  • OriginTrail Parachain & Moonbeam are now integrated, bringing availability for OTP (OriginTrail’s native token) on Moonbeam, and GLMR on OriginTrail. This will enable cross-chain token transfers to/from both networks.
  • You can now delegate GLMR tokens for multiple tracks in one transaction. No more having to carry out multiple transactions delegating to the same person.

  • Governance via nomination pools and token bonding is now live within the Enjin wallet app. All iOS & Android users may now update their respective apps to v2.5.1.
  • Early Governance Rewards Program from Enjin encourages holders to engage in blockchain governance via validator oversight. Bond your ENJ before Jan 15, 2024, to receive additional ENJ for your initial participation in governance.

Equilibrium / Genshiro

  • Genshiro is currently undergoing maintenance. The team is working on extending the parachain leasing period.

KILT

  • SocialKYC credentials on KILT are valid for one year. To ensure that they remain current and accurate, from October 16, all credentials over a year old will automatically be revoked.

Dock

  • The Dock Association's proposal for a 3-month increase in emissions has successfully passed. The revised emission schedule will provide additional rewards to validators to help offset rising energy costs, and to stakers whose contribution helps to secure the network.
