About
STORIES@SOAS
STORIES is SOAS's alternative news magazine, bringing you the best features and essays on the issues the SOAS community cares about.
Note from the editor

STORIES was launched at the beginning of 2018. The magazine was founded by two ex-SOAS Spirit editors, Mel Plant and Ella Linskens, who decided to create something a little different for the SOAS student media landscape. We want to provide a space for longer, deeper explorations of the news at SOAS, the cultures of the world, and just about anything else, and focus on quality rather than quantity.
