Hmmm….I understand the new technology just fine or at least I think I do. Its just that I can no longer raise the requisite amount of enthusiasm about them. I can see how this non-stop skepticism of mine is annoying to the younger co-workers, though.

I don’t think it did as well as the studio would have like, but Mortal Engines was a pretty big Steampunk film that just came out last year and Alita: Battle Angel from this past January had an awful lot of Steampunk elements as well. Seems to me that it’s hard to say a movement is dead when Peter Jackson and James Cameron are both incorporating it into their latest works.
