Followers

Since I last checked the stats we have been steadily gaining 1 follower per day which sounds very sustainable to me in this niche!

I’m hoping that current writers for Tea with Mother Nature will benefit from being around for the beginning of this publication and being foundation writers.

If you’re wondering how to get more out of this publication, read my ideas here: Advice for Writers: How to Help a Small Publication Work for You.

Most fans and claps

This month I officially got on board with the shoutout movement and submitted an entry to a Coffee Times competition which had to be published in another publication. After much deliberation, I published it in Tea with Mother Nature. Hopefully, its position at the top of this fans and claps list means that it has given the publication more visibility and as evidence for that we have gained some new writers in the last week!

If you’re interested it’s called Shouting Out Makes Winners of Us All.

Shoutouts are not mandatory for TWMN, but if you want to add shoutouts to your articles in Tea with Mother Nature please do!

And if you find an inspiring story in Tea with Mother Nature please shout out the writer!

Highest number of views

Kam’s article has sprung to the top of the views list with almost 700 views since Propagation is Key was published on December 6.

Next on the list is Dunelair with A Radically Enthusiastic View of a Hidden World.

Highest number of reads

In the last month Propagation is Key from Kam has had the most reads with ‘Desert Pigs’ Is a Volunteer Group Determined To Clean Up Nevada’s Desert written by Kim Zuch following in second place.

What’s happening?

  1. With family commitments due to the festive season, keeping up to date with the publication is challenging. I may be a little slow to respond until the new year, but rest assured I will respond!
  2. Coming soon — We’re going to work on making sure that we make images more accessible by adding alt text. We’re still working on this. It’s a time consuming task! I have started doing this on some of my articles. Apparently, it enhances one’s SEO!
  3. If you have any questions, concerns etc that are longer than a private note, feel free to use the publication email: teawithmothernature@gmail.com .

The future is bright

We do our best to promote our writers and the publication, but if we work as a community we can do more!

Please spread the word. Let’s get people motivated and inspired to help the planet and themselves by connecting with nature and taking small steps towards big change.
