Before you get started

If you were the person who downloaded Roby, you are by-default the Roby administrator. You are able to add/remove admins and agents as you set up for your team. You can find more information on user permissions and configuration here.

Open Roby on your Microsoft account

Cool, let’s get started! To open Roby on your Microsoft Teams, here are the steps.

Find Roby by selecting […] on left sidebar > Click “More apps” >

Next, type “Roby” in the search bar >

Open Roby app

How it works

Find Roby in your chat and wake Roby up by typing “Hi”, “Help” or anything! Here are the main features you have access to as an admin:

  • “Add/remove admins”: You can add or remove who are the receivers of the requests.
  • “Make a request”: As an admin, you can still make a request, either to your teammates or yourself!
  • “View open tickets”: Manage all your open tickets here!
  • “View dashboards and settings”*: You can access your portal to check the data analytics, manage your subscriptions, and users permissions.

You can find more information on the admin menu here.

Manage all your tickets on Microsoft Teams

You can now view and manage all of your open tickets right from Microsoft Teams! Just pull up Roby and select “view open tickets”. From here you can reply to requests, assign them to other admins, check the message history for each ticket, and closeout completed tickets.

Check dashboard

You can also access your request history via the dashboard in the admin portal. In the portal, you can also view data analytics, add/remove admins, set language preferences, and manage your subscription & add-on features.

You can find more information on your Roby admin portal here.
